Quantum Lending
The Challenge
Traditional DeFi lending protocols rely solely on collateral ratios, leading to inefficient capital allocation and high default risks. Quantum Finance needed a system that could assess borrower risk across multiple blockchains, incorporate off-chain credit data, and make lending decisions quickly while maintaining security and decentralization.
The Solution
We developed a hybrid AI-oracle system that combines on-chain transaction history with off-chain credit data. Machine learning models analyze borrower behavior patterns, wallet activity, and cross-chain asset holdings to generate risk scores. Custom smart contracts on each supported chain handle lending logic, while a centralized AI service provides risk assessments via decentralized oracles. The system uses multi-signature verification and time-locked updates to maintain security while enabling fast decisions.
Results
Quantum Lending processed $500M+ in loans across 15 blockchains with zero defaults. The AI risk assessment reduced over-collateralization requirements by 30% while maintaining the same security level. Average loan approval time dropped from 10 minutes to 3 seconds. The protocol achieved 98.5% capital utilization efficiency, significantly higher than traditional DeFi lending platforms.
